Chris Chekouras is an accomplished, values-centric healthcare executive with broad leadership experience, bringing a proven history of achieving results through collaboration, transparent communication, and personal accountability to his work as an Executive Coach & Consultant at DillonMarcus.
A Career in Healthcare Leadership
Chris built a three-decade career in hospital management and administration, most recently serving as Executive Director of Talbot Hospice, where he led a team of clinical, administrative, and volunteer staff serving the Mid-Shore community. Prior to that, he served as Interim President and CEO of Saint Agnes Healthcare in Baltimore, a member of Ascension Health, as well as leadership roles including President of the St. Mary's Health System in Maine and a ten-year career with Virtua Health in New Jersey.
A Passion for Service
Throughout his career, Chris has combined healthcare executive leadership with a deep commitment to community service, including his work as a former board member of Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice in New Jersey. That same combination of operational rigor and genuine care for people carries into his coaching work at DillonMarcus.
