Meet Evan Marcus, Co-Founder of DillonMarcus
Evan Marcus co-founded DillonMarcus with his wife Tara nearly two decades ago, with a mission of cultivating great places to work. Today, he's a sought-after speaker, business consultant, and author with more than 20 years of experience coaching executives and executive teams to perform at a world-class level.
Building World-Class Leadership Teams
Evan's work centers on helping executive teams clarify their vision and take action that aligns with it. He advises leaders on strategy, culture, service, and talent development, bringing an approach that's both strategic and tactical — grounded in what actually works, not just what sounds good in theory.
An Expert on Anxiety and the Spot-It™ Method
Evan is an expert on anxiety and the Recovery International Spot-It™ method, helping working professionals understand that changing their thinking can change how they feel and the results they produce. He's on a mission to make this powerful methodology commonplace among professionals, and his favorite part of Spot-It™ is simple: it works, and it can be used right in the moment.
Author of Multiple Books
Evan is a three-time author. His books include Pheel the Love!, co-authored with Tom Burgoyne, the Phillie Phanatic's "best friend," which explores how the power of love builds great companies; It's O.K. to Play, co-authored with Tara, offering a 30-day path to a more joyful life; and Addicted to Struggle, which examines why so many of us cling to struggle and how to find a different way forward.
A Personal Path to This Work
Evan's spirituality has always been part of his life, though it wasn't until his life started to fall apart in his early 20s that it became his purpose. Along the way, he's drawn on his roots in Judaism, several years in a seminary, a Master's degree in Somatic psychology, and decades in a 12-step fellowship — an eclectic path that continues to shape how he coaches and connects with the leaders he works with.
Outside of Work
When he's not working, Evan can be found meditating — which his kids like to joke is "code" for napping.
