Meet Tara Marcus, Co-Founder of DillonMarcus
Tara Marcus co-founded DillonMarcus with her husband Evan nearly two decades ago, with a mission of cultivating great places to work. A top-rated speaker, award-winning course designer, and teacher of emotional intelligence, Tara has spent her career helping leaders and organizations perform at their best.
A Career Built on Facilitation and Strategy
A veteran GE Capital alumnus, Tara is a strategic thinker and entrepreneur, though it's her facilitation skills that have earned her the most recognition. Thousands of people have experienced her practical presentation style, and she frequently receives top effectiveness ratings from conference attendees. Before founding DillonMarcus, Tara built the formative part of her career in the corporate world, including national sales and organizational development leadership roles.
Building DillonMarcus
Together, Evan and Tara founded DillonMarcus, a company dedicated to cultivating corporate cultures and unleashing the potential of leaders. Over the past two decades, they've advised more than 100 clients on strategy, service, collaboration, and leadership. Tara has also served as past president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Society of Training & Development, a Dale Carnegie instructor, and an adjunct faculty member for the Rutgers School of Business MBA program.
An Expert on the Spot-It™ Method
Tara's favorite part of the Spot-It™ method is its peer-to-peer design — it doesn't require a leader for it to work or to sustain over time. She's on a mission to make this method as accessible as possible to anyone who wants to reduce stress and anxiety and build greater emotional intelligence.
NAWBO Award Winner
Tara's contributions to business and leadership have been recognized with a NAWBO Woman Business Owner Award, celebrating her excellence in strategy, leadership, and impact.
Outside of Work
In her free time, Tara spends time with her three boys riding extreme roller coasters, then recovering with yoga.
